I've kind of worked out where I'll be seated, it looks like the stage is probably just back further than the picture below shows.



a slight compromise, but much better than what was on offer with the presale yesterday!

ticket for VH has now been booked.

what a way to celebrate a birthday! (the theory being that when VH take the stage on June 20th, it will be June 21st in the UK!!)

Probably about a week, I should be able to fit in everything that I'd like to do during that time, fly out from Heathrow on the Monday, leave Dallas on the Sunday.

of course I am, I'm like a social Howard Hughes; as much as I enjoy my reclusive nature, I enjoy the buzz of a great time out!

although, I kind of know someone that lives in Austin, so might Greyhound it to see them, just as much for the experience of doing a Greyhound Bus trek as much as seeing this friend.

It will be...memorable!!

Just in case you decide that you have had your fill of "Americana" up to Austin, perhaps arrange a backup rental car for the return trip back to Dallas.  :P


Can't wait for the photo documentation of that trip.
