I used to do the Reading festival in the 90's, during my late teens/twenties; but once you hit 30 the appeal of the festival lessens, more so for me; as I'm a big girls
blouse at heart and need that shower/bed experience in the morning, not the crawling out of a tent.

There is an element of laziness in recent years, Sonisphere is only down the road from me (about 5 miles); although I am tempted to see the Big 4 this Friday, tickets
are still on sale; plus I should be able to work my workload in a way that I could catch up over the weekend to allow.

btw, Big4 tickets are still cheaper than what you're expected to pay for Motley!

Oh man i'd kill to see the Big Four, well mainly Metallica & Slayer, since Daves voices makes me burst into laughter when I hear him sing.

You should totally go, a friend of mine who is currently on exchange in Belgium is going I think, she also went to Graspop & a few others, I totally envy her!
